You are working as a member of the fusion team in an international project that aims to bring driverless automated vehicles to the market.You design the detection of the surroundings of the vehicles, which combines data from various sensors and provides an important basis for behavior planning.Furthermore, you will work with your colleagues on the fusion software and focus on ensuring the functional safety of the fusion system.You ensure that the requirements of functional safety (ISO26262), availability, SOTIF (ISO21448), as well as legislation and standardization are already taken into account in the design.You are the competent contact person for the topic of Safety / SOTIF within our fusion team.To do this, you create risk assessments, derive requirements, create FTAs, FMEAs, design the technical safety concept and monitor compliance with the goals using appropriate tests.Since we operate in a very innovative environment, you are also ready to develop new methods that go beyond the current automotive standard. They can justify and verify their concepts statistically.You will coordinate closely with colleagues from other function and system teams in the area of functional safety beyond the merger team.
